What the scan collects

When you run a scan we receive the web address you type and your IP address. We fetch about a dozen public files from the address you gave us and store the resulting report for 24 hours so a repeat scan does not hit your server again. We do not attach your identity to that report.

The grade, the score and the four category bars are shown to everyone. To see the list of what to fix we ask for your name, email address and phone number, and we store those alongside the site you scanned and its result. We use them to follow up about that scan and about services that would address what it found — by email, phone or text. That record is held in our own storage and in our customer-relationship system, GoHighLevel, which processes it on our behalf. We do not sell your details and we do not share them with advertisers.

You can stop us contacting you at any time: reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to the address below and we will remove you.

Abuse prevention

The scan form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a request comes from a person rather than a script. It runs in your browser, sets no tracking cookie and does not identify you. We also count scans per IP address for a short period so one caller cannot monopolise the scanner.

Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is the only analytics on this site. It is cookieless, collects no personal data and sets no cross-site identifier, which is why there is no cookie banner: there are no tracking cookies to consent to. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or session recording.

Directory listings

Business listings are built from public records — principally the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation licence file, a public record under Chapter 119, Florida Statutes. These describe businesses, not private individuals. If a listing carries information you believe should not be public, or is wrong, write to us and we will correct or remove it.

What we never do

We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site, we do not fingerprint your browser, and we do not attempt to identify you across other websites.

Your rights and how to reach us

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@ownyourlisting.com and we will respond within 30 days.
